HPCA CRICKET STADIUM

Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, located at the height of 1,457 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest sports grounds in the world.

 

WAR MEMORIAL

War Memorial is located at entry point of Dharamshala town. It was built to commemorate memory of those who  fought valiantly for honour of their motherland.

 

DHARAMSHALA TEA GARDENS 

The smallest tea region of India, Dharamshala has beautifully lined and organized tea gardens. It is known for its good quality tea and is available for purchase in many shops across Dharamshala and Mcleodganj.

 

KANGRA ART MUSEUM 

This museum, just off the main street, displays some fine miniature paintings from the Kangra school, and Chamba rumal embroideries, along with traditional costumes and photos from the devastating 1905 Kangra earthquake.

 

NORBULINGKA INSTITUTE

Norbulingka Institute was founded in 1988 for preserving Tibetan culture, literature and art. It was established by HH Dalai Lama and is named after Norbulingka, It has been built in traditional Tibetan style located amidst gardens and ponds.

 

GYUTO TANTRIC MONASTERY

It was founded in India in 1959 and was established for preserving and promoting the tradition of Black Magic, popularly known as Tantric Teachings, of the great teacher Ksongkhapa.

 

INDRU NAG TEMPLE

Indru Nag is an ancient temple built by local villagers and is dedicated to Snake King. People offer prayers to the  Indru Nag and they strongly believe that this God saves them from the natural disasters, especially heavy rains.

 

JOHN IN THE WILDERNESS CHURCH 

This is one of the oldest Anglican churches in McLeod Ganj. Nestled in a copse of mighty Deodar trees. The church was built in 1852, to provide a place of worship for the British soldiers posted here, and the church is full of memorial stones of those who passed away here.

 

HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA’S MAIN TEMPLE

This temple is also called as Tsuglakhang TempleDalai Lama visits this temple twice or thrice every year to preach and bless.

 

BHAGSUNAG TEMPLE 

Located 1 km from McLeod Ganj is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Bhagsu Nag, the snake God  and to Lord Shiva. A freshwater spring, in which pilgrims to take a holy dip flows through the temple. A beautiful waterfall, is located about a 20-minute walk from the temple.

 

DHARAMKOT 

Dharamkot is a small hill station in Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. On the crest of a hill above McLeodGanj, Dharamkot is a spot with wide views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar ranges.

 

TRIUND TREK

The trail to Triund is short but steep. The steep climb is well-compensated by refreshing walks amongst rhododendron and oak trees. There are also various songbirds in the forests along the trail which make it a birdwatcher’s delight

 

DAL LAKE

Dal Lake is a small mid-altitude lake near the village of Tota Rani in Kangra district . The name 'Dal Lake' is taken from Kashmir's Dal Lake. The lake is surrounded by deodar trees and is considered to be a sacred spot as there is small Shiva mandir on its bank.

Naddi Village is just 3kms away from McLeod Ganj which itself is one thrilling spot for travellers and tourists. Do not miss the sunset point, eco point and the view point that gives you the most wonderful and panaromic view you will ever expirence.


CHAMUNDA DEVI TEMPLE 

The temple complex is a beautiful spot with scenic views of Dhauladhar, Baner Khad and Dadh. The main shrine is adored by the images of Lord Bhairav and Lord Hanuman on its sides. This place also has a beautiful bathing ghat and a small temple across the bridge joining the ghat.

 

KANGRA DEVI TEMPLE

The Shree Vajreshwari Mata Mandir also known as Kangra Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess Vajreshvari, a form of Durga located in the town Kangra, in Himachal Pradesh, India.

 

 

KANGRA FORT 

Kangra Fort is witness to thousands of years of grandeur, invasion, war, wealth and evolution. It is the largest fort in the Himalayas and probably the oldest dated fort in India. Occupying the lower valley of the Beas and its tributaries, it was one of the leading hill stations of Punjab and Himachal earlier.

 

JWALAJI TEMPLE

One of the oldest known pilgrimage destinations of Northern India. The main attraction of Jwala Ji Temple is the eternal

flames representing the image of deity, Jwala Ji. The four cornered sanctum-sanctorum of the temple is set with a small

dome and a square central pit where the sacred stone is found. The main flame of this temple keeps burning constantly. 

 

CHINTPURNI TEMPLE

Chintpurni is a major pilgrimage Centre and one of the Shakti Peethas in India.  The Chintpurni Shakti Peeth houses the temple of Chinnamastika Devi or Chinnamasta Devi. Chhinnamasta or Chinnamastika temple is one of the 7 major and 51 total Shakti Peethas. Here, Chhinnamasta is interpreted as the severed-headed one as well as the foreheaded-one. The Hindu genealogy registers at Chintpurni, Himachal Pradesh are kept here.

 

MASRUR ROCKCUT TEMPLES 

This holy shrine is situated on Nagrota Surian link road and is famous for its remarkable single-rock-cut monolithic temples. The Masroor temple complex features a group of 15 Indo Aryan style monolithic rock cut shrines. The main shrine,  called the Thakurdwara, contains three richly carved black stone images of Ram, Lakshman and Sita.

 

MAA BAGLAMUKHI TEMPLE 

The shrine is dedicated to one of the ten Mahavidyas of the Supreme Goddess as per Shaktism. Devotees visit the temple with hopes of getting their wishes fulfilled, cases won, exams passed or life otherwise to be happy and successful. It is said that anything asked for after performing homagni and yajna at the temple is granted.
